Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive financial management of WINK Aparthotels. Your duties will include:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Accounting & Reporting:
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
  • Optimize cash management practices to enhance liquidity and financial stability.
• Internal Controls & Compliance:
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and facilitate annual audits.
• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
• Strategic Initiatives:
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or a related field or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry. Must be well-versed in hospitality accounting/bookkeeping.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
